What is required by my charity should we wish the company to undertake bookkeeping or independent examination services?As regulated services, we follow our Anti-Money Laundering Policy to ensure we can verify service users to a reasonable level of certainty. This requires charities to provide a range of information using our quick and streamline gathering process. Do you offer charitable independent examination for charity's with an annual income over £250,000?"Unfortunately we do not provide this service at the moment, but do check back in with us in the future to see if this has changed.

Why does my charity need to provide you with verification evidence for your bookkeeping and independent examination services?All businesses offering accountancy services which includes bookkeeping and independent examination, must be legally registered and supervised by an anti-money laundering supervisory body. Positive Community Finance Ltd is currently supervised by the Institute of Accountants & Bookkeepers. Please follow this link for more information.

How long are the bundles mentioned on the service pages?Our day bundles last for 7.5 hours and are great value for when an hour or two is not enough. They can be used in one day of spread over the week. We also offer year bundles for some services which is an hour each month of the year. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like more information on our bundles.

What is your minimum booking time to provide a service?We offer hourly bookings for all services except Independent Examination and Accounts Preparation which have set hours and prices depending on the charity's annual income. Feel free to get in touch for more information or if you would like to discuss unique requirements.

What are your service fees and do they include VAT?Our service pages share an insight into our price structure but it is better to get in touch with us for a more tailored service quote. As the company is not VAT registered, we do not charge VAT on any of our services so the price quoted is the full cost of the service.
